01
An account without a SIM card
You do not need a SIM card or SMS verification for Livara registration. You do need an internet connection and access to your email inbox. Start with the Android app; browser registration may be restricted by the service configuration.
02
Private conversations, clear boundaries
Direct messages use LVR1 end-to-end encryption. Private groups use LGS1 sender-key encryption for text and attachments. Public broadcast channels are server-readable and should not be used for confidential conversations.
03
Choose what identifies you
A username lets contacts find your account without sharing a phone number. Phone-free does not mean anonymous: Livara processes account information and delivery metadata, and recipients can save or share what you send.
04
Get started on your devices
Download the Android beta from the official download page and check its published SHA-256 digest. Existing accounts can use the web client. Keep your recovery phrase safe: your password alone cannot unlock an encrypted identity backup.
